We are grateful to be accommodated at short notice here at Litton Mill. The apartment is just perfect with all 'mod cons' and comforts. It's a joy to see this historic mill fully restored after being derelict and ruined. It's the perfect holiday home in interesting and serene limestone countryside. Many thanks and best wishes.

 

Excellent well fitted out scenic base to see the Dales. Watch Dippers over breakfast. Good walking and good pubs for dinner - Bulls Head, Ashford in the water, Red Lion, Litton and Bulls Head, Foolow. Hope to be back again.

 

Stunning apartment - very peaceful and ideal for walking from the door. Visit Castleton, Bakewell and Chatsworth. Walk back down the lane to the Anglers Rest for dinner.

 

Very comfortable apartment. Really enjoyed our stay and beautiful countryside.

 

Had a great stay - slept walked and ate. Go to Max's in Bakewell for a curry. The Roaches are worth the little drive. Great location.

 

Accommodation - first class. Location - first class. Weather - unpredictable, but you can't expect perfection. Seriously, we would hope to return here for future visits.

Absolutely delightful site - the way it is appointed with views. Great centre for walking from. Good pub at the Angel. All in all wonderful time had by all.

 

Spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped holiday apartment in a wonderful area. We have enjoyed walks from the door every day. Superb scenery. Went to Bakewell on the only wet morning. Make sure you visit the museum there. Enjoyed a meal at the 'Anglers Rest', reasonable price and good food. Meal at Red Lion, Litton - good value.

 

Timed our visit to coincide with the well dressing preparations in Tideswell and Litton. Great centre for local walks and we were amazed at all the flowers along the old railway track beds. Local food was variable - we found the Red Lion to be the best with basic home cooking.

 

Perfect. My trip was fantastic.
